Another day; Another something to do
So today I’m suddenly prepping for a photo shoot.
I had contacted the Catholic Spirit which is the diocesan newspaper here in the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ, asking if they were in need of freelance photographers. My thinking is, if I have a gift and talent to take pictures, why not offer my services to others?
The photo shoot is going to be of a Mass for the Filipino Community of the Diocese. It is being held at 8:00 PM tonight at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. It should be an interesting shoot. Filipinos are generally devout Catholics, very attuned to the prayers and traditions of the Roman Catholic Faith. My goal is to capture up close shots of the bishop, concelebrants, and attendees during the course of the Mass. But above all, I need to be unobtrusive.
